At ODM we have developed our own set of standards and code of practice for all web sites we design for your peace of mind.
STANDARDS FOR WEB DESIGN
We will:
- Design websites to W3C Standards for XHTML and CSS
- Make our websites accessible for users
- Give free training to all clients on how to keep their website accessible
- SE Optimise websites and submit to Google, Yahoo!, Bing and Alta Vista as standard
STANDARDS FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN
- All graphics will be available in PSD, AI, PNG, JPEG and GIF formats
- All graphics will have a minimum 72dpi resolution
- All graphics will be designed in correct proportion
STANDARDS FOR OUR CLIENTS
We want to keep a happy relationship with all of our clients and the users of their websites, for this reason we will:
- Make websites with input from the client where requested
- Give opportunity to feedback at all stages
- Seek client approval before moving to the next design process (for web and graphic designs)
- Always be honest with our clients about the design and functionality of the design
CODE OF CONDUCT
We will not:
- Make websites that we label as “unsuitable” for viewing for persons under 18
- Display inappropriate images such as pornography or nudity on behalf of a client
- Accept any project that the Personal Designer feels is unsuitable to carry out, or contains inappropriate or offensive material
- Take any responsibility if the client goes against our recommendations for a design or function that causes harm to the project or business
- Put our link on a website that goes against these codes and standards
